A Reusable Bag Has the Lifespan of 700 Disposable Plastic Bags!

Plastic is a substance that never goes away. We throw out 88 tons of plastic per year. Reasons to say “No” to Plastic Bags & Paper Bags

  1. Depletion of our Natural Resources

It takes 12 million barrels of oil to produce the 100 Billion plastic bags consumed (thrown out) every year and less than 1% are recycled.

That would be enough fuel to fill up 1 Million cars every year!

  1. The Environment and the Use of Natural Resources

A plastic bag takes 1,000 years to decompose on land and 450 years in waterways. This affects our Water, Energy, Forests, and Clean Air.

  1. The Danger to Animals and Marine Life

Plastic accounts for 90% of the trash on the ocean’s surface; which measures to 46,000 pieces per square mile. Marine life mistakenly sees a plastic bag as jellyfish and eats it.
